About the role:    

Join our team at Point Frederick or Toukley where purpose-built units empower adults with disabilities to live independently in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment. As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll deliver high-quality, flexible care tailored to each resident’s unique needs—including those with complex medical conditions and manual handling requirements.


More than just care, you’ll be helping individuals live life on their own terms, guided by choice, control, and a person-centred approach that puts dignity first. 

   

Location: Point Frederick and Toukley NSW  

SCHADS: Level 2  

Role: Perm part time 

Days: Monday to Sunday 

Availability: to work across a range of shifts that will include, early mornings, afternoons, evenings and active night shift     

   

Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes operate 24/7, and we’re seeking flexible team members available across a variety of shifts on a rotating fortnightly roster. 

   

Duties

  • Support at Home – Help clients thrive in their own space and to empower them to manage all areas of their lives holistically, from day-to-day household tasks, attending appointments as well as fun community outings.  
  • Personal Care with Purpose – Provide respectful assistance with hygiene, dressing, delicious meals, and medication administration to promote dignity and independence. 
  • Transport That Connects – Drive clients to appointments, programs, and outings that keep them active and engaged. 
  • Social & Wellbeing Boost – Be a companion on community outings and social activities that enrich lives and build confidence. 
  • Meaningful Documentation – Record key details that help us deliver the best care and support every day. 


Requirements

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.  
  • NSW unrestricted Driver’s Licence and access to a register and comprehensively insured motor vehicle. 
  • Employer working with Children Check. 
  • NDIS workers check and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals.
