Role Summary The role of the Disability Support Worker is to work with clients within the NDIS funding framework, assisting them to achieve their goals and increase their independence and participation within the community. You will provide support to people with disability and/or psychosocial needs, enabling them to undertake all aspects of daily living. You will also promote and demonstrate positive behaviours, learning experiences and skill development for your clients.Responsibilities and Duties Taking clients out for social outings and activities, shopping trips or GP/specialist appointments Servicing clients at their respective homes with activities of daily living such as toileting, showering and dressing Light domestic duties and meal preparation/eating assistance Medication administration duties Liaising with the families and representatives of your client as required   We're looking for candidates with flexible availability - the more shifts you can work, the more opportunities we can match you with! The roles will work across Ellenbrook and surrounding suburbs.Skills, Attributes and Experience The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their ability to deliver person-centered care that values the choice and goals of the client.
