Personal Carer / Disability Support Worker - QLD

We’re looking for a skilled, caring and reliable Disability Support Workers to assist participants who have sustained a Spinal Cord Injury with everyday daily living needs.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Carers / Support Workers to assist client/s who are living with physical disability. The role involves providing support with daily living activities and personal care in a respectful and professional manner. Along with community Access.

Key Details

• Shift: Morning, Community Access, Evening and Sleepovers
• Days: Variable roster (flexibility required) and set days for the right candidate.
• Additional Work: Other shifts may be available with different participants within the Brisbane area and Gold Coast.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living needs, plus access to the community
• Provide mobility support and safe wheelchair transfers
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Maintain a supportive and respectful environment
• Follow care plans and training provided

About You

• Experience in disability or aged care support - essential
• A caring and empathetic approach
• Reliable and punctual - essential
• Ability to follow instructions, care plans and work independently
• Willingness to learn and undertake training
• Dedicated specialised training for SCI with our Clinical Nurse
