ResicareSA is seeking experienced Disability Support supervisors for immediate start to provide in home car, supporting SIL Clients, conducting day care activities, performing community participation for various clients across Port August and Kadina.

Experience in SIL, IN home care, Challenging behaviours will be prioritised for interview and selection. Additionally, preprence will be given to candidates with swimming experience for the role .

We have certain highly challenged clients as well requiring experienced and highly professional support workers.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

• Daily scheduling and allocations of clients through the deployment pipeline, creating a positive client experience and adhering to NDIS compliance requirements.
• Lead a team of support & care workers to achieve positive outcomes for clients in a community settings.
• Work collaborative with families and other care providers
• Coordinate a range of day to day tasks including compliance, medication management, weekly reporting and general house duties
• Ensuring that services are consistent with the ResicareSA policies and procedures
• Firm understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management and Quality and Safeguards practice standards.Handling client issues to ensure they are managed in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform direct care duties for individual participants as specified in the Personal Care Profile including (but not limited to): showering/bathing, dressing/grooming, toileting, preparing meals, assisting participants to eat their meal, provide participant with additional support where required (such as gastronomy feeding where appropriate training has been provided).
• Carry out as instructed and/or designated – and demonstrate initiative – task and activities aimed at meeting the participants personal/living community needs, team objectives and/or program goals
• Use phone application to log in and log out from assigned shifts. Leave case notes after shifts .
• Must be available for regular morning, afternoon, evening, and passive/active overnight shifts across a 7-day roster.

To be successful for this position as Disability Support Worker, we require:

• Demonstrated experience working with people with a disability
• NDIS Worker Screening
• Certificate 3 or above in Individual support (or equivalent)
