Disability Support Worker – Social Connections (Benalla Day Program)

This role really requires someone fun and vibrant with a passion for supporting young people.

• Casual position. Availability: Minimum of 3 days per week, between Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm.
• Supporting clients to engage in outdoor and hands-on activities such as swimming, sports, art, music, gardening, or cooking
• Providing respectful and dignified personal care and daily living support
• Promoting independence and inclusion in the community
• Communicating proactively with team members and supervisors to report progress or concerns
• Maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families, colleagues, and other service provider

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children’s Check (Employee)
• Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten year
