Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will play a key role in proactively supporting and empowering our clients to be part of the community, their hobbies, interests and programs and to live independently.

This role really requires someone fun and vibrant with a passion for supporting young people.

  • Casual position
  • Supporting clients to engage in outdoor and hands-on activities such as swimming, sports, art, music, gardening, or cooking
  • Providing respectful and dignified personal care and daily living support
  • Promoting independence and inclusion in the community
  • Communicating proactively with team members and supervisors to report progress or concerns
  • Maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families, colleagues, and other service providers

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children’s Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten year
