QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

· Certificate 3, 4 in disability, youth work, community services or a relevant field (essential).
· First aid, mental health first aid, MAPA and medication training certificates (essential).
· Have a current and valid unrestricted driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle. (essential)
· Have a current DCSI, working with children, vulnerable people and NDIS Worker check.
· Have a current and valid police clearance.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Work alongside our clients to support and assist them with all aspects of daily living, community access and social inclusion.
Assist participants with a range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, domestic assistance, meal planning and cooking as required.
Assistance with co munity access and transport
Promote and assist clients to live an active, healthy and positive lifestyle
Follow all organisational policies and procedures
Any other reasonable duties as required
Provide high quality support according to NDIS and company standards to our clients and ensure that they achieve their full potential.
Undertake relevant administration duties and provide the company with accurate reports such as incident reports, medication charts, injury reports, communication book notes, case notes etc. Ensure that all paperwork and information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner according to company standards.
Follow all reasonable directions from senior staff and model a strong work ethic.
Attend all appropriate trainings and house meetings that are relevant to our client’s care.
Attend to all shifts in a timely manner.
