Right at Home Gold Coast South is a trusted provider of in-home care and support services, helping people living with disability to live safely, independently, and with dignity. We are currently seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join our passionate and dedicated team, delivering services across the South Gold Coast region – from Elanora to Tweed Heads and surrounding areas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This rewarding role focuses on supporting NDIS participants to achieve their personal goals, build independence, and participate fully in community life. Support is delivered with respect, compassion, and professionalism, tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Shifts average 10–15 hours per week, typically between 6:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Personal Care – showering, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Manual Handling – mobility assistance and physical support
• Community Access – social, recreational, and community activities
• Domestic Support – light cleaning, meal preparation, general home care
• Behavioural Support – strategies to assist clients with complex behaviours, including restrictive practices where required
• Client Plans & Documentation – provide care in line with support plans and maintain accurate records
• Collaboration – work closely with clients, families, carers, and health professionals to achieve positive outcomes
