  • Minimum 1 year of experience in disability, aged care, or community health (essential)
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check (within 12 months)
  • Working with Children Check (if applicable)
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
  • COVID-19 vaccination (as per health regulations)

We are seeking experienced and caring Part-Time Permanent Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care in participants’ homes and the community. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting participants with daily living, personal care, and community access. Working from an individualised care plan and as part of a collaborative team, you will support clients to maintain independence and achieve their personal goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with household duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Support community participation (appointments, shopping, social and recreational activities)
  • Encourage independence and choice in daily activities
  • Work regular part-time hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, as rostered
  • Maintain accurate records in line with NDIS requirements
