ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team to assist our participant in Middleton Grange, NSW. Our participant is a middle-aged male who suffered Brain Injury due to a car accident in 2015 and requires complex supports.
Our participant requires support from Monday to Saturday

This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that includes 2:1 support for the below shift times:

• 9AM - 12PM (3 hours)
• 2PM - 5PM (3 hours)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing challenging behaviours
• Bowel Management - Enemas
• PEG/RIG feeding and medication management
• Hoisting
• Manual handling
• Personal care
• Consistent skin checks and skin integrity management
• Vital sign monitoring
• Oral suctioning and nebulisers
