You’ll support people with disability and/or psychosocial needs in all aspects of daily living, helping them achieve their goals, increase independence, and engage in the community, all within the NDIS funding framework.Responsibilities and Duties Assisting with daily living activities such as - toileting, showering, dressing, cooking and cleaning Providing individual support for clients with psychosocial needs Supporting clients on social outings, shopping trips and appointments Liaising with families and representatives as required Promoting positive behaviours, learning experiences, and skill development   We're looking for candidates with flexible availability - the more shifts you can work, the more opportunities we can match you with! We have roles available across Griffin and Redbank Plains.Skills, Attributes and Experience The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering person-centred care that respects the choices and goals of each client. You’ll have the people skills to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationships, whilst working closely with fellow support workers and your coordinator to maintain accurate progress notes, develop individualised care plans and problem-solve any issues within the house.   Key Criteria:   Possess or be willing to obtain a Yellow and Blue Card Proof of working rights (Passport or visa) Valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle Previous experience supporting clients with complex mental health conditions is essential   St Jude's NDIS are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
