DISABLED BADGE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

We’re looking for a proactive Disabled Badge Enforcement Officer to join our Manchester team. You’ll play a key role in investigating misuse and fraud of Disabled Badges, preparing case files for Legal Services, and ensuring high standards of enforcement and customer care.

Responsibilities
  • To carry out the duties of the post due with regard to the Company’s equal opportunities policy
  • To effectively manage potential confrontational situations
  • To be flexible – carry out any other duties as and when required by the management
  • To help train new staff within the team
  • To liaise with members of the public and give advice on parking issues and enforcement procedures in a courteous manner ensuring that our customer care policy is always adhered to.
  • To enforce Disabled Badge Fraud and misuse under Section 2 of The Fraud Act 2006 and Regulation 117 of The Road traffic Regulation Act 1984, to any vehicles in contravention of the regulations.
  • To authorise vehicles for removal in line with contract guidelines.
  • To use and be responsible for the care and general maintenance of any company equipment allocated in order for daily tasks to be carried out
  • To undertake the duties of the post in accordance with the Quality Assurance systems and procedures within the service
