We are seeking a Restoration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the restoration of damaged property, including water extraction, demolition, and rebuilding. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to join a fast-paced, growing team and make a positive impact on our clients’ lives.

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience an asset
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
  • Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Basic computer and/or tablet experience
  • Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • Hold a valid license and a clean driver’s abstract, as well as access to a vehicle
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Perform Water / Flood and Contents duties as required
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours work (i.e. occasional evenings and weekends)
  • Inventory and pack out contents
  • Conduct repairs and restoration work on damaged property.
  • Perform demolition and debris removal.
  • Provide up to date communication and information, both verbally and written, to Managers and their
  • Perform safety checks on all equipment used in the restoration process.
  • Maintain records of all work performed.
  • Participate as directed in the following activities:
  • Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
  • Maintaining vehicles in clean serviceable condition
  • Constructing polyethylene enclosures
  • Removing and disposing of debris
  • Maintaining equipment
