Description Seeking a friendly, organized and motivated Medical Assistants for a fast-paced Urgent Care Center. Responsibilities and Duties Excellent customer service skills are a must. Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome. Efficiently check patients in and out. Schedule follow up appointments. Provide discharge instructions to patients at the end of their visit. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions. Demonstrate compassion to patients. Ability to calm upset patients and resolve their issues. Assist with nurse visits (PPD tests, flu vaccines, COVID vaccines, etc). Perform other assigned duties or those within the front and back MA office scope. Experience preferred but not required. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:45AM-5:15PM Pay Range: $18-$22/hour Requirements Qualifications MA Certification (Required) CPR-BLS (Required) Language English (Required) Spanish (Preferred) Education High School Diploma or GED (required)
Responsibilities
