Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Discipline Lead - Mechanical to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing all mechanical engineering activities within our organization, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation in our projects.

  • Lead the mechanical engineering discipline, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the MEP Middle East team.
  • Develop and implement mechanical engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on mechanical engineering designs and documentation on all projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of standardized mechanical engineering documentation across all projects
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements in mechanical engineering
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations
  • Drive innovation, computational design efforts and process improvements within the mechanical engineering discipline
  • Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal preparations
  • Lead the Mechanical Engineering mentorship and training programmes
