BT-186 – Disclosure and Classification Management Skill Level: Journeyman Location: Bethesda, MD (fully on-site, no remote option) **MUST HAVE A POLY CLEARANCE TO APPLY. Those without a Poly clearance will not be considered.** Primary Responsibilities: Provide consulting services in the support of the classification management process, including reviewing intelligence information for possible declassification, disclosure, and/or release. Includes reviewing documents to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part, requests for public disclosure, and explaining those determinations to leaders and the workforce. Coordinates with designated staff to establish local records and information management business processes, helps develop classification policies and procedures, and updates security classification guides. Basic Qualifications: Requires a BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in Information Disclosure and the Classification Management process. Demonstrated experience in reviewing various written intelligence products to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part. Demonstrated experience in reviewing records to determine if they can be declassified. Experience in maintaining, updating, and delivering reference tools, trainings, manuals, and user guides to educate the workforce on classification, declassification, and prepublication management issues.
