Description Position Summary The Dish & Flex Team Member plays a key support role in maintaining kitchen flow and cleanliness during peak business hours. This position is responsible for ensuring dish, utensil, and tray availability while assisting with basic prep or line coverage when needed. This role enhances overall service efficiency, reduces overtime, and supports a positive guest experience during the busiest periods of operation. Primary Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dishware, utensils, cookware, and trays throughout service. Keep dishwashing area clean, sanitized, and properly stocked with supplies. Assist with trash removal, sweeping, and mopping in dish and prep areas as needed. Communicate proactively with cooks, expo, and managers to anticipate needs during rush periods. Support kitchen flow by flexing into basic prep, line assistance, or food running when needed (based on skill level and direction from Kitchen Manager). Follow all food safety and sanitation standards as outlined by Warped Wing Brewing Company and local health codes. Maintain a professional attitude and collaborative approach with all team members. Flex Responsibilities (As Needed) Fill in for cook shifts or assist on the line in the event of a call-off or high-volume period. Execute basic cooking or plating tasks as directed. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold kitchen safety protocols. Qualifications Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Reliability and consistent weekend availability are essential. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Team-oriented with clear communication skills and willingness to take direction. Compensation Base Pay: $12–$15/hour (depending on experience) Flex Pay Rate: $16/hour when covering a cook shift or assisting on the line
