Salary: $18/hr. We are a speedy team that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our stores and customers. We need a Dish Steward for our high-volume kitchen that makes food for all of the customers! We want you to go home proud of a good day’s work. This is your chance to break into the kitchen and show what you are made of! A food handler’s card is required for this position. We need a Dish Steward who can: * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and cleaning supplies, and maintain recycling areas * Wash all pots and pans, ensure perfect cleanliness and sanitization. Return to their proper places * Maintain all company safety, dress, and personnel policies * Follow the daily check-off list efficiently and on time * Keep the floors always dry throughout the building * Dry dishes completely and return them to their proper places. * Sweep as needed or on request from management * Refill soaps and hand towels as needed in the bathrooms * Follow the bleach bucket schedule (use proper dilution) * Check full garbage cans throughout the shift and take to the dumpsters * Clean up spills that require mopping Elephants Delicatessen is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
