Responsibilities Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including sinks, counters, and storage areas. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support kitchen operations. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently. Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including dishwashers and cleaning tools. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff. Basic understanding of food preparation, bussing, serving, and banquet setup is a plus. Reliable with good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
