Here atArlowe strive to create a sense of awe that leaves those we touch wanting more”…..    Dishwasher / Porter are directly responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, which is the first thing a diner sees. Ensuring that all items used within the kitchen is cleaned to standards.     RESONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:    * Always treat guests with courtesy and respect in a variety of situations  * Honesty & Integrity  * Delivers outstanding service and creates memorable experiences.  * Coordinates and multi-tasks job duties in an active environment      SPECIFIC DUTIES    * Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.  * All dishes, glassware, plastic containers, pots and pans must be put away clean, dry and grease free in a neat and organized manner  * Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.  * Clean garbage cans with water and proper MSDS cleaning supplies  * Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.  * Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.  * Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.  * Sweep, scrub and mop floors.  * At no time should there be standing water on the floor anywhere in the kitchen; as per the health code violation.  * Responsibilities to ensure all paper towels, soap are refilled at every handwashing sink throughout the kitchen.  * Weekly deep cleaning of both ice machines also daily spot cleaning        REQUIREMENTS:    * Must have 2 years + experience as dishwasher/porter at a comparable restaurant or hotel.  * Must have a basic understanding of the English language  * Must be able to lift 50 lbs  * Must be able to stay on your feet for 8 hours plus     Knowledge:     Must have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures    Compensation $17 - $18 / hour

The Dishwasher/Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant kitchen, including washing dishes, glassware, and cooking equipment. They also handle waste removal, floor cleaning, and ensure kitchen supplies are properly stocked and organized.
