We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware for the dining room and cleans all cooking utensils, pots, and pans for the kitchen staff. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and previous experience is preferred. He or she must be committed to be reliable, work well with his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware to stock the dining areas and set tables Ensures a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available for kitchen staff Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation Clean floors and dispose of garbage Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices Other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred Previous experience preferred Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
