Responsibilities: Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items. Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. Sort and organize cleaned dishes and utensils in designated storage areas. Ensure proper storage practices to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to maintain a smooth workflow. Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to manage the flow of dirty and clean dishes. Support kitchen staff by keeping work areas clean and sanitized. Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste following proper procedures. Maintain Equipment: Keep dishwashing equipment clean and well-maintained. Report any issues with equipment functionality to the manager. Follow proper safety and sanitation guidelines, including the use of protective equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel. Time Management: Work efficiently to handle a high volume of dishes during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure a constant supply of clean dishes for kitchen operations. Assist in other kitchen tasks as needed during peak hours or when required. Be willing to take on additional responsibilities to support the overall functioning of the restaurant. Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks. Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Team player mentality with good communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits: Free Food!
