Description We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using manual and automatic cleaning methods - Ensure all dishes are cleaned and sanitized properly - Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils - Assist with kitchen cleaning and organization as needed - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures - Maintain a clean and organized work area If you are a hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, we encourage you to apply for this position. Requirements General: Ability to obtain food handler's certification Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience: No previous experience is required. On the job training and orientation is provided. Other: Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Requires the ability to employ patience and tact in dealing with residents, staff, and the general public. Requires the ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with coworkers, professionals, residents and the general public. The Dietary Aide must be organized, detail oriented and skilled in the use of equipment. Must possess the ability to deal effectively with geriatric residents and multiply handicapped individuals. Requires personal cleanliness and the ability to follow rules and regulations for safety and sanitation in Institutional Food Service. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met, to include the use of supplies and equipment. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday and be able to turn, bend, reach over head and below knees. Must be in good physical health and demonstrate emotional stability. Will be required to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies in excess of 40 lbs throughout the workday. This position requires standing and walking a minimum of 90% of the total workday.
Responsibilities
