What will be your core responsibilities?

• Responsible to ensure and keep the dishwashing area cleaned and organized.
• Ensure all the chemicals are stored in the chemical closet.
• Responsible for the safety operation of an industrial dishwasher.
• Responsible for emptying and cleaning trash receptacles.
• Responsible for cleaning of the lunch room, office space, washrooms, changing rooms, staff areas, and common areas.
• Responsible to understand and abide by SDS for the chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Responsible to ensure safe use of chemicals and cleaning equipments.
• Comply with all instructions and company principles.
• Report and attempt to resolving any Food Safety issues that may come to attention.
• Understand and comply with SQF requirements.
• Responsible to ensure and keep the plant, production and facility areas clean.
• Responsible for emptying and cleaning trash receptacles.
• Assist with facility cleanliness duties and operations as request by the supervisor.
• Responsible with handling Plant and facility disposal items such as organic waste, recycling and regular garbage.

What makes you a qualified candidate?

• Comply with Food Safety objectives and culture within premises.
• Previous cleaning experience would be an asset (preffered 3 years)
• Ability to standing, bending and lifting (up to 30 lbs to 50 lbs) for prolonged periods of time.
• Possess effective communication skills – Spanish is an asset.
• Follow instructions impeccably.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking.

• Compensation: Start Rate: $19.00 per hour
