Alavida Lifestyles is looking for a Full Time Dishwasher for our retirement home located at Central Park - Ottawa, ON. Under the direction of the Food Service Manager, the Dishwasher provides assistance to the Dietary Aides/Servers and clean and sanitizes the kitchen, serveries, dishes and dinning rooms.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of a recognized Food Handler training program is preferred
• Knowledgeable about proper food handling and storage procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be empathetic

Schedule:

• Day shift

Experience:

• Restaurant: 1 year (preferred)
• Dishwashing: 1 year (preferred)

• Prepares and offers bread items (dinner rolls, baguettes, etc.) and beverages (coffee, tea, juice) services to residents, in a professional and courteous manner
• Loads, operates and empties dishwasher and puts dishes away
• Cleans other kitchen equipment (blenders, dishwashers, etc.) and clears dishes from tables
• Works collaboratively with all staff in the Food Service Department
• Other duties as assigned
