Position Overview
We are currently hiring Dishwashers for a leading healthcare facility in Calgary, AB. As a Dishwasher with GHHS, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining environment to support the dietary and food service operations of the facility. Your attention to hygiene and teamwork will directly contribute to the well-being of residents or patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, including floors, walls, and work surfaces
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing food supplies and cleaning products
  • Ensure all dishwashing and cleaning equipment is used and maintained safely
  • Follow health and safety regulations and facility-specific infection prevention protocols

Requirements

  • Valid Food Handler Certification is an asset
  • Minimum 6–9 months of experience in a kitchen or food service environment; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within the past 6 months)
  • Completed 2-Step TB Test (within the past 6 months) and/or Chest X-ray (within the past year)
  • Proof of 2 or 3 doses of COVID-19 vaccination
