OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment using machine and manual cleaning methods. A successful candidate will help keep the kitchen running smoothly and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is an asset.
  • Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining kitchen hygiene.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is advantageous.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to guests is highly valued.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Support cooking staff during meal service by preparing ingredients and ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.
  • Follow food safety guidelines for proper food handling and storage to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
  • Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management.
  • Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
