Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/ Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of food, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen staff in various tasks. Reliable transportation is essential. We are not on a bus route.
Duties:
- Clean kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas
- Assist in basic food preparation under the supervision of kitchen staff
- Support cooks and chefs during peak hours
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries
- Maintain inventory levels and communicate shortages to the team
Experience:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not needed
- Knowledge of food handling and kitchen sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Flexibility to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed
