DISHWASHER JOB DESCRIPTION

Dishwasher Job Description Summary: Provides clean restaurant wares for front of house and back of house departments. Dish Machine Operators maintain a clean, safe and organized work space for all back of house staff to utilize.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures work areas are kept clean at all times
  • Empties trash take out boxes when required and spot sweeps whenever floor needs it or upon manager’s request
  • Keeps all dishes, silverware and all other Front Of House items clean and in proper organized locations
  • Does kitchen prep as needed and follows all proper food safety guidelines
  • Maintains clean and organized shelves
  • Pre-rinses all items before entering the dish machine to pro-long the waters life
  • Refreshes dish machine water as needed and removes waste from drain guards
  • Washes racks of silverware before they become too full to avoid dirty pieces
  • Does daily, weekly and monthly cleaning projects (stainless equipment, walls, floors etc…)
  • Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
