OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hospitality setting and are passionate about supporting food service operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year banquet experience required.
  • Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
  • Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
  • Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
  • Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.

SKILLS

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
  • Load, run and unload dish machine.
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
  • Keep dish room clean and organized.
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
  • Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
  • Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Banquet Hall as directed by the Manager or immediate Supervisor.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program
