JOB DESCRIPTION

Antipastos is seeking a reliable and mature individual to work in our fast paced kitchen. The successful candidate should be able to work days, afternoons and weekends. The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the availability of clean supplies, utensils, and equipment. General cleaning of the kitchen is also an important responsibility. Antipastos’ business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm. Closed all major holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery and equipment through manual and machine cleaning methods
• Organize and store all clean items in the appropriate locations and storage areas
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the kitchen including floors
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles regularly
• Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
• Ensuring compliance with the business policies, procedures, and Standards of Operation.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, secure, legal, and healthy work environment.
• Fostering a spirit of teamwork and unity among co-workers
• Recommending system improvements

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
