Redhawk Gastropub is hiring a full-time Dishwasher; candidates must be reliable, able to work nights, and willing to work in a fast-paced team environment. Expectations ·    Ensure clean and sanitized dishware, silverware, pots, pans, cups, glasses, cooking utensils, dish racks, etc. ·    Clean and keep a neat and safe dishroom.-NOT OPTIONAL! ·    Wash and store dishes, trays, utensils, cups, glasses, and pots in proper place. ·    Remove trash from dish room and place in dumpster. ·    Clean and sanitize garbage cans and keep liners in cans at all times. ·    Returns dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and utensils to the dish cart or dishwashing area. ·    During rush periods, assist bussers with cleaning and resetting tables. Capacities Physical 1.    Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length and to lift, bend, and stoop. 2.    Position requires extensive walking and standing. 3.    Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and has the ability to lift bus pans, trays, and garbage cans frequently weighing up to 40 pounds? Mental 1.    Upbeat and happy. 2.    Customer service oriented. 3.    Dependable, on-time, and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Able to speak and read English. Daily Tasks 1. Wash dish ware. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the dishroom. 2. Restock dishware, silverware, pots, pans, cups, glasses, cooking utensils, dish racks, etc. dishware, silverware, and glassware. 3. Keep the dishwasher stocked with appropriate chemicals. 4. Take out trash. 5. Put away shipments of supplies if needed. 6. Take out empty boxes. 7. Help cooks, bussers and wait personnel as needed. 8. Perform extra cleaning duties as directed by supervisor. 9. Sweep and mop floors.
Responsibilities
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, utensils, and cooking equipment while maintaining a neat and safe dishroom. Additionally, the role involves removing trash and assisting bussers and kitchen staff during rush periods.
