Bloomfield Public House is hiring a dishwasher/prep position. We are looking for individuals who want the opportunity to learn & grow within the company. Successful candidates will work successfully within a team environment, and have the ability to make memorable experiences for our guests.
We are looking for a dedicated, organized dishwasher/prep cook who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast paced kitchen environment. They may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean garbage receptacles, and other duties, as needed. To be successful as a Dishwasher, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting, and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory
-High School Diploma or equivalent - OSSD
-Strong problem solving and communication skills
-Effective time management skills
-Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 30-40 pounds
-Comply with all food safety standards

Responsibilities

-Ensure cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
-Organizing and maintaining the dishwasher area
-Preparing kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking cook stations if necessary
-Cleaning machines and appliances, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, plates, mixers, etc.
-Unloading and storing deliveries in proper areas
-Sweeping and mopping floors
-Remove and replace garbage when necessary
-Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed
-Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
