We have an opening for a Dishwasher to work PRN or as needed. Lakeview's Dishwasher maintains a clean, safe, and orderly kitchen environment to ensure that assigned areas, dishes, utensils, and other kitchen tools are kept at the highest degree of cleanliness at all times. Competitive pay Retirement plan with employer match Employee Assistance Program Fitness center and pool Job Duties and Responsibilities Scrapes food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools, then washes them by hand or places them in the dish machine, while using proper infection control procedures. Ensures that dishes, utensils, and pans are all stored in the proper place. Ensures that the dish room, utility room, food preparation area, and other storage areas are clean, orderly, and free from any standing water. Assists with food preparation as needed. Lifts, moves, stores, and counts food stock items. Ensures that food is correctly storied in accordance with established procedures. Adheres to all safety requirements of the Local, State, and Federal jurisdictions. Adheres to all safety requirements established by Lakeview Village. Maintains proper uniform and hygiene according to established procedures for food and beverage personnel. Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-department personnel and other departments within the facility, to ensure that Dining Service programs can be properly maintained to meet the needs of facility and residents. Ensures that Resident’s Rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to express grievances are followed. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Handles stress well, gets along with others in the workplace, maintains acceptable standards of conduct. Adheres to all safety regulations and requirements. Completes trainings as required by policy. Supportive of Lakeview Village’s vision, mission, and values. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Ability to speak, understand, and read English when performing work duties which require this need. Must have a full understanding an effective application of: Sanitation, food borne illness, and cross-contamination policies and procedures.
