As a Dishwasher, you will help maintain residents’ health and well-being by ensuring dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas are clean, safe, and sanitary at all times. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day. What makes you a great fit? * Cleaning dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery following established sanitation procedures * Ensuring correct usage of chemicals in dish machine and pot-washing areas, i.e. uses 3-sink method for pot washing * Cleaning kitchen, including mopping entire floor * Assuming cleaning tasks as per site cleaning schedules * Receiving, uncrating, and putting away supplier deliveries as required * Alerting team leader to problems and makes recommendations about corrective action * Performing other duties as assigned What you need to know: * Grade 10 minimum education required. * Proven customer service skills and excellent command of verbal and written English language * Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team * Safe Food Handling Certification is preferred * All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check. * You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit * You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check * Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position Sienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
