Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in East Gwillimbury, Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth operations in our fast-paced food service environment. Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment using manual and machine washing methods Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Empty and clean garbage containers, transporting waste to designated areas Assist in basic food prep tasks as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient workspace Report any damaged equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor Contribute to a positive team environment and support fellow staff members Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen support role Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and kitchen tools safely and efficiently Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in food service Customer-focused mindset and willingness to assist others as needed High school diploma or equivalent preferred Additional Information Sodexo is committed to Employment Equity and Diversity.
