Overview Join the team at South Bar & Kitchen as a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities Operate the dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly stacked, stored, and ready for use by the culinary team. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen as a whole. Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying the supervisor when restocking is needed. Collaborate with the kitchen team to support timely and efficient service during busy hours. Qualifications Dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred. Able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures. Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus. Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays. Stand for long hours, often in wet conditions. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags). Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment. Bend, stoop, and reach frequently. Operate dishwashing equipment safely.
