Job Summary The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the dishwashing area and operating the dish machine in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures that all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and organized to support smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities · Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine according to safety and sanitation standards. · Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. · Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of debris throughout the shift. · Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed. · Assist with trash removal and maintain proper waste disposal procedures. · Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and rewash items as necessary. · Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. · Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning or prep tasks as directed by management. Qualifications · Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred but not required. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. · Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. · Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. · Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
