Dishwasher Responsibilities: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas, kitchen floors, and workstations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines Sort, scrape, and properly dispose of food waste and trash Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as organizing supplies, restocking clean dishes, breaking down equipment, and simple prep Support cooks and service staff by ensuring timely availability of clean dishes and utensils during service Report broken or malfunctioning equipment or safety concerns to kitchen leadership Dishwasher Requirements: Some experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred but not required Availability to work varied hours/days, with flexibility to come in early or stay late occasionally Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry heavy plates, racks, boxes, and supplies Our goal at The Washington House and Sellersville Theater is to provide happiness by giving excellent customer service to everyone who enters our facilities-including ourselves!
