Position Information * Location: Clay County Jail – 14 S Water St. Liberty, MO 64068 * Schedule: 7:00am-3:00pm (must have weekend availability) * Pay: $17 per hour PLUS BENEFITS * Benefits: 100% Company paid employee Medical, Dental, Life Insurance & short-term disability insurance; Paid time off available after 90 days of employment *Must be at least 21 years of age* **This position does require a very thorough/strict background check** Position Summary We are looking for a dishwasher/stocker assist in the operation of the kitchen. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as washing dishes, restocking items, unloading deliver trucks, helping prepare cook stations, cleaning & sanitizing. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team. Responsibilities * Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware. * Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps dish area organized and free of clutter. * Stock micro-market * Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks. * Maintains clean, dry floors throughout the shift. * Cleans and sanitizes storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators. * Assists in storing food deliveries. * Monitors trash cans throughout shift, making sure to removes full trashcans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift. * Maintains the cleanliness of dry storage areas and the organization of storage shelves. * Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef and other managers as needed. * Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures. * Ensures that dishwashers are in working order and reports problems as they arise. * Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations. Skills * A team player with good communication skills * Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure * Strong attention to detail and cleanliness * High school diploma or equivalent is desirable Remote work is not allowed.
