Description Job Summary: Must be reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff. The Dishwasher plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness of utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our food service operations. Will need to maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment while supporting the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities: Washing Dishes: Operate dishwashing equipment to wash plates, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen wares after meals, ensuring they are clean and sanitized. Critical Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by following sanitation and health guidelines, including removing trash and disposing of waste properly. Kitchen Support: Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and equipment cleaning as needed. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage cleanliness and inventory of dishware and utensils, ensuring that all items are available for service. Equipment Care: Regularly clean and maintain dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor. Organizational Duties: Follow the kitchen's established systems for organization, including proper stacking and storage of clean items. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that the kitchen remains a safe and hygienic environment. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen Requirements Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred, but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive movements. Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and able to follow sanitation guidelines consistently. Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment. May require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Exposure to hot surfaces, cleaning chemicals, and loud noise
