Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order; report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
