Manthey Hospitality is hiring Dishwashers to ensure pristine sanitation and efficient back-of-house operations for Yacht StarShip. Our kitchens are fast-paced and fun! Galley crew prepares all meals on board for cruises that depart weekdays, weekends, and special holiday events. What You’ll Do Wash and sanitize all dishware, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machines or by hand Collect, rinse, and properly rack items; inspect for cleanliness and proper storage Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dish area and galley at all times Safely operate dishwashing equipment and maintain proper chemical levels Properly store clean equipment and restock service areas, stations, and storage spaces Sweep, mop, remove trash, and clean trash receptacles to keep work areas safe and orderly Assist with receiving and storing supplies, following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices Support basic food prep and general galley cleaning as needed Follow all company policies, health department regulations, and sanitation standards Adhere to vessel safety procedures and participate in safety drills Communicate effectively and support team and vessel operations Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Good communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working aboard vessels in tight spaces and dynamic environments Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed Ability to work onboard for 2–5 hour cruises; occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, vision (if hired full time) 401(k) with match Subsidized parking Complimentary cruises & Manthey Hospitality brand discounts Ready to create a sea of memories with Yacht StarShip? Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, physically able to lift and carry loads of up to 50 pounds properly, standing for extended periods of time, reach levels up to eight feet in height, work in an environment that can be hot and humid at times, maneuver and work in spaces as narrow as 1 and a 1/2 feet and work productively in a fast-paced environment. Must have knowledge of and be able to use all kitchen cleaning equipment. Must be able to work onboard a vessel that is away from shore 2 – 5 hours at a time. MATERIAL/EQUIPMENT USED Dishwasher, other standard kitchen cleaning equipment and chemicals. ENVIRONMENT Continuous standing, walking, bending and stooping in a noisy and hot environment. Work on a vessel with limited personal space and public areas. Twelve-hour days with the likelihood of a varying daily schedule. Prolonged strenuous physical activity in indoor and outdoor environment. UNIFORM Company issued gray t-shirt with logo, pants and black rubber soled slip resistant, closed toe/closed heel shoes. Company issued hat and apron optional.
