As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Retail Strategic Planning team, which shapes the long-term financial direction for Domestic Parks Retail. Your work will help guide high‑impact decisions, ensuring alignment between financial strategy, guest needs, and enterprise‑wide priorities. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2026 to January 2027. What You Will Do You will gain valuable experience as you analyze guest spending trends, support the development of the Retail Long Term Plan, and deliver analytical and strategic insights that inform product initiatives, franchise and synergy programs, and new attraction launches. If you exhibit strong analytical, organization, and prioritization skills, and possess robust intellectual curiosity to explore new insights and trends proactively, apply today! On any given day, you might: Manage merchandise franchise portfolios and partner with Strategy Integration, Category Planning, Location Planning, and Merchandising Develop a program or synergy financial targets to set a strategic direction for vertical merchandise development support Assist in the preparation of presentations for leadership to outline in-season program performance and provide recommendations on future assortment strategies Conduct character analysis to identify key opportunities and trends in guest purchasing behavior Required Qualifications & Skills Please apply if you have: Proficiency in Microsoft tools, Business Objects, and Retail Reporting Systems Validated strong data mining, financial, and analytical skills Ability to collaborate with peers and partners using sophisticated written and interpersonal tools Attention to detail, proactive, with strong follow-through skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking and a problem-solving approach are needed to meet adventurous timelines Education Junior or senior preferred Major or previous coursework in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, Math, Merchandise Planning, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization Additional Information Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 - January 2027 Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required Limited housing opportunities may be available for Florida-based Disney Interns through American Campus Communities.
