Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Dispatch Administrator will provide effective administration support to the Dispatch team throughout a 7-day cycle, ensuring the smooth coordination of deliveries, stock movements, and associated documentation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from internal staff and transport companies, organising deliveries and handling stock queries.
  • Work closely with the Senior Administrator to deliver efficient administrative support, including:


    • Load preparation documentation, highlighting upcoming issues early.

    • Stock transfers using Microsoft AX ERP systems.
    • Picking and shipping documentation.
    • Booking deliveries and collections via the customer service database.
    • Create departmental reports (Excel, Word), including shift end reports, investigations, efficiency tracking, and KPIs.
    • Assist Inventory Co-Ordinator and Material Controllers with cycle counting, resolving discrepancies, and reporting findings.
    • Liaise with delivery drivers and fork truck drivers, booking in late raw material deliveries where required.
    • Monitor the dispatch and delivery of raw and irradiated/non-irradiated slabs from external warehouses, ensuring ERP records are up to date.
    • Assist with the creation and maintenance of departmental SOPs.
    • Support audits by resolving non-conformance issues and preparing reports.
      Provide cover for team members during absence or holidays.
