OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispatch Manager to oversee our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation management systems and supply chain processes, with a focus on optimising efficiency and ensuring timely deliveries. This role is crucial in managing the flow of goods and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain high standards of service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in logistics or dispatch management, preferably in a supply chain environment.
• Familiarity with AS400, SyteLine, or similar transportation management systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with various parties.
• Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry tasks.
• A solid understanding of shipping & receiving processes is essential.

• Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Utilise transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics effectively.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Conduct data entry tasks related to dispatch activities, maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory.
• Perform analysis of logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.
• Maintain a high standard of phone etiquette when interacting with stakeholders.
