Currently seeking a Dispatch Assistant
At Transco, our Customers and Drivers are what make our business a success. As a dispatch Assistant, you will provide support for the City/HWY truck fleet during regular business hours. This includes planning and monitoring of the city fleet, accurately distributing, receiving, and updating information. You will be responsible for handling all the driver-related communications within assigned and overflow queues. Identifying and participating in resolving issues relating to day to day activity of the driver. You must be well organized and accurate and have an urgency in carrying out daily activities.

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently plan schedule, and dispatch drivers in real-time through a computer-based dispatch/satellite system for on-time pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain working knowledge of products hauled, regulations and operating authorities.
  • Ensure driver’s compliance with HOS and Safety regulations when dispatching.
  • Communicate driver and load information for the day team
