JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatch/Broker Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of goods and services, ensuring efficient logistics operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of transportation management systems (Axon knowledge is a big asset). This person will work closely with clients and carriers to optimize supply chain processes and enhance overall service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in TMS (Axon knowledge is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain management, and freight operations.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.
• Familiarity with dispatching procedures and fleet management practices.
• Effective phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients, carriers, and internal staff.
• Typing proficiency for efficient data entry tasks.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience with Customs Brokerage is also an asset.
