Job Description   Job Title: Dispatch Transportation Clerk Pay Rate: $20.00/hour                                                                                               FLSA/Grade: Non-Exempt/Hourly Reports to: Transportation Manager                                                                          Department: Transportation                                                                                                                                      Employment Type: Full-Time   Position Summary:   The Dispatch Transportation Clerk provides essential administrative support to the Transportation Department by maintaining accurate driver route records, filing reports, and handling internal and external communications. This role ensures smooth logistics operations through timely reporting, effective coordination, and the use of tools like Microsoft Office and Roadnet software. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the Transportation Clerk is a key contributor to the efficiency and compliance of daily transportation activities. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate and timely reporting of driver routes. * File weekly, monthly, and quarterly transportation reports with precision and organization. * Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner. * Organize workload to ensure all assigned tasks are completed within established timeframes. * Maintain and manage efficient physical and digital filing systems. * Generate and interpret reports using Road net software. * Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support transportation operations. * Communicate effectively with internal departments, senior management, and external customers. QUALIFICATIONS Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: * 1–3 years of clerical or administrative experience preferred SKILLS & COMPETENCIES * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Strong organizational and time management skills * Accurate typing and data entry * Excellent verbal and written communication * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
