Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher
Schedule: Full-time, continental shifts (day and night rotations). Work 7 shifts over a 14-day period, averaging 80 hours biweekly.

JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate freight movement, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at problem-solving, this role is for you!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in dispatching or transportation logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch trucks to pick up and deliver loads on schedule.
  • Coordinate driver schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
  • Monitor freight movement and address any delays or issues.
  • Maintain communication with drivers, providing updates on weather, traffic, and other factors.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, equipment usage, and fuel consumption.
  • Collaborate with customers to meet their transportation needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues like equipment breakdowns or delivery delays.
